Several years ago many of the Escondido High graduating classes came up with the idea of having a
combined Class Reunion for all classes celebrating 50 years and more. We think this is a wonderful idea
and the City of Escondido has been very supportive in making Grape Day Park available year after year.
This gives all of us the opportunity to see our classmates and old friends from classes ahead or behind us.

For 2010, the Class of 1960 Reunion Committee has planned the following events for our class.
These include the ALL CLASSES activities as well as two additional Class of 1960 events.

Events –

Friday, May 14th - Cruisin’ Grand, Downtown Escondido (Grand and Broadway) 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Pizza Party afterwards at Darrel Witt’s home (2311 Rancho Diego Ct. Escondido, CA 92029 T: 760-480-0626)

Cruisin' Grand is a Friday night weekly event that takes place on Grand Avenue and runs April through October.
The event consists of historical and collector cars, street music, and a large group of spectators.

Saturday, May 15th - 50+ Year Class Reunion, Grape Day Park 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
(Reunion for everyone who graduated from EHS in 1960 or before)

Sunday, May 16th - Class of 1960 Open House, Dennis Bahen’s home (11587 Kaywood Lane, Escondido, CA, T: 760-746-9945) 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
(Reunion for Escondido High School Class of 1960)

We need current addresses, telephone numbers, and e-mails to update our mailing list.
Please send us your contact information along with any fellow classmates' contact information you may have.

Regarding our active list, please let us know if we are missing names or if anyone has passed away.

Also, if you have a cool high school picture for our memory board please send it to us.

Watch for a Class Reunion mailing from us by the end of January 2010 for registration to the 50+ Year Class Reunion.
We will also include instructions if you are interested in purchasing caps and t-shirts.
